Project Description
The Rotary Club of Kathmandu, in coordination with the Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island, handed over mobile dental equipment to BP Eye Foundation on 24 June 2026 to strengthen community outreach dental services. The equipment includes a Portable Dental Unit with Scaler (for dental camps), Apex Locator, Electric Pulp Tester, Intraoral Scanner, Intraoral Scanner Printer, Heavy-Duty Compressor, Portable Dental Chair (for camps), Air Rotor Handpiece, Micromotor, and a laptop.
The handover ceremony was conducted in the presence of District Governor Elect Vishnu Bahadur Karkee and Club President Rajendra Gautam. The project, valued at NRs. 823,000, aims to enhance access to quality dental care through community-based outreach programs and dental camps.
